Parking FLL

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport has several parking options and a total of more than 12,000 parking spaces in 3 parking garages named Cypress, Hibiscus, and Palm. Pickup/drop-off and Valet options are available as well as Short-term, Long-term parking, Overflow Parking, Off-Site, Hotel Parking and Disabled parking. Wheelchair access to all terminals. Should wheelchair assistance be required, the passenger must contact the airline in advance to make arrangements.

The first 20 minutes of parking are free.

Drop Off, Pick Up and Valet Parking

Pick up

Cell Phone Lots - The designated waiting zone for cell phones is situated mere moments away from the arrivals area of the terminals, providing complimentary parking for individuals waiting to collect passengers.

Accessible from I-595, US-1, and Griffin Road, the cell phone waiting parking area allows visitors to utilize the 20-minute free parking grace period in the lots after waiting, or they can opt to pick up passengers directly at the arrivals curb.

The curbside on the Arrivals Level (Baggage Claim lower level) is designated for the active loading of vehicles exclusively. Parking at the curb for waiting to pick up passengers is not permitted. Please only approach the Arrival's curb when your party is ready and waiting.

Drop off

Drive up to the Departure Level (upper level) curb in front of the terminals when actively dropping off passengers. Please do not leave your vehicle unattended at the curb.

If you wish to accompany departing passengers inside a terminal, it is recommended to use a parking garage. The initial 20 minutes are complimentary, and beyond that, the standard fee will apply.

Curbside Valet

At FLL, you can access Curbside Valet Parking services at two drop-off/pick-up locations. These valet stations are positioned at the west ends of Terminals 1 and 4 on the Departures (Upper) Level. Simply pull over, obtain your valet ticket, and proceed to your airline's terminal. Upon your return, you can retrieve your vehicle curbside on the Departures Level, where you initially dropped it off.

In case of high travel demand, curbside valet parking and self-parking options might temporarily close when reaching maximum capacity. They will reopen as soon as spaces become available.

Short-term Parking

Short-term garage parking is available in the Hibiscus garage (level 2) and the Palm garage (level 1). 
Short-term parking rates: $3 per hour/$36 per day.*

Long-term Parking

Long-term parking is available in all 3 parking garages and on these levels:
Hibiscus: levels 3 to 7 - Palm: levels 2 to 4 - Cypress: levels 6 to 9
Long-term parking rates: $3 per hour or $15 per day.*

Transportation between Parking garages

Inter-garage Trams

Travelers have the option to use a complimentary tram service that shuttles between the Palm and Hibiscus garages, offering a faster transit to/from the terminal. The trams run every day of the week, departing every 8 minutes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Overflow Parking

Additional parking will only open at peak travel times when the onsite garages are full. The parking lot is situated to the west of the airport, and passengers can utilize the free shuttle bus service for transportation to and from the terminals. Stops are along the airport's upper-level roadway between Terminals 1 and 2 and Terminals 3 and 4.​

Parking for travellers with disabilities

Parking spaces designated for passengers with disabilities are available in all airport parking garages. These spaces include a special ADA parking access feature, enabling individuals with upper-body mobility limitations to enter the parking facilities without pulling a ticket. Information is recorded through a speakerphone and camera recognition system.

Additionally, the terminal shuttle buses are equipped to accommodate wheelchairs.

Payment Methods

Toll plaza cashier:

Use this way of payment if you lost your parking ticket, write a check to pay or have a vehicle that qualifies for courtesy disabled parking.

Quick Pay Lane

Use this way of payment if you plan to pay with credit card.

SunPas​s Plus

This is a convenient option for paying parking fees in the Airport's garages. Utilize your SunPass Transponder for a seamless payment experience.

Simply select the SunPass Plus lane upon entering the parking facility and, upon exit, choose the SunPass Plus lane at the toll plaza. SunPass will automatically deduct the airport parking fees from your account.

It's important to note that there are no additional fees associated with using SunPass Plus for airport parking, although this service is not applicable for Valet Parking.
